When I’m swinging my club (let’s say I’m swinging it 70, 80, maybe even 100 miles an hour) If I make a swing and I don’t rotate my body through that club…
That speed in the club needs to go somewhere.
And guess what?
If I’m not rotating my body enough, that speed’s going to go through my arms and hands.
What does that mean?
That’s going to be a flip motion.
Now, on the opposite side of that, if I DO rotate, then I can support the speed of that club.
That’s 70, 80, 100 miles an hour supported by the body.
I don’t have to do as much with my arms and hands, and then I can control that club face better.
But if I DON’T rotate, then I’m NOT going to have that same kind of club face control.
