Yes, Share The Same At-Home Secrets You’re Using To Eliminate 3-Putts And Improve Confidence From Anywhere On The Green–In Just A Few Minutes A Day

Is there anything worse than hitting the green in regulation…

…and then three-putting your way to a bogey?

I don’t think so…

In today’s lesson, I’m going to give two simple drills to correct the two most common mistakes amateurs make on the green…

One of these is the same drill I’ve seen Tiger Woods use before big major tournaments.

So if you’re serious about becoming a better putter…

And you’re willing to put in the time on the practice green…

Then pay attention — because this lesson is for you.

The Number 1 Mistake Amateurs Make in Their Putting

The first deadly mistake I see amateurs making is the angle of attack…

Have you ever thought about your angle of attack with the putter?

If not, it’s probably been the culprit every time you’ve ever three-putted.

But don’t worry…

I have a drill that auto-corrects your poor angle of attack…

Step 1: Fix Your Angle of Attack

This drill is simple.

I want you to push one tee in the ground… with about a half inch of the tee sticking up.

The top of the tee should be just a little lower than the height of your putter head.

Then set up to the tee as if it were your ball…

Place your putter about a half inch behind the ball and take your putting stroke without hitting the tee…

This is going to retrain your brain to hit up on the ball — instead of hitting down like most amateurs do.

Do that, then work on the second biggest mistake…

The Second Deadly Mistake
Amateurs Make On the Green

The second worst thing you can do with your putter is never release the putter head…

What that means is — the putter head never goes past the nose and past the sternum…

Rather, your head and body turn with the putter and you never release it.

Film your putting stroke and see if you’re making this mistake…

If you are, do this drill…

If you’re not… still do this drill — it’s that important.

Step 2: The Tiger Woods
Drill For Rolling Pure Putts

Tiger was one of the greatest putters of all time — and what he did better than anyone else is practice…

Well here’s one of his gametime drills that will help you fix the second deadly mistake almost immediately…

What I want you to do is take three balls and place them in a line.

Now hit those putts with only your right hand…

Your left hand should be on your left hip..

This is going to teach you to release the putter and keep your head, eyes, and body still…

Don’t worry — you’ll hear the ball drop in the cup when it goes in!

The Fastest Way to Lower Your Scores Is to Take
A Long Hard Look at Your Game from Tee to Green

You see, most amateurs get tunnel vision, focusing on a SINGLE element of their game and hoping it will magically lower their scores…

Whereas pros focus on developing a MINDSET that helps them shave strokes from every area of their game systematically…

I keep thinking about something I heard a Top 100 Teacher Jamie Mulligan say at the 2020 Masters.

This is when everyone was stressing over the conditions of Augusta National…

“Golf is played more like chess,” he said. “You’re trying to think ahead and move your ball from position to position, safely.”

That’s the biggest difference between golfers who shoot in the 90s and 100s and those who consistently shoot in the 80s and 70s.

The main culprits for “poor position” are ineffective pre-shot routines, shanked shots into greens, chunked or skulled chips, disastrous putting — and most of all — a flawed mindset.

Luckily, the fix for ALL of these issues is easier than you think.
